Family Planning National Training Center
Goal: The goal of the Family Planning National Training Center (FPNTC) is to support the reproductive health and Title X community in the U.S. to deliver high-quality family planning services.
Overview: The FPNTC provides training and technical assistance to a network of more than 90 Title X-funded grantees and more than 4,000 service sites. JSI creates and disseminates training resources and provides training to the family planning field through its website, a monthly eNewsletter, social media, and regular conference attendance. Training resources include webinars, training guides, job aids, toolkits, videos, and eLearning modules. JSI designed the logo, branding guidelines, and all visual assets for the resources.
In October 2017, JSI launched a redesigned website for the FPNTC – fpntc.org – that allows users to easily find resources, enroll in web-based training, register for training events, and track their training participation online. JSI undertook a user-centered design process to ensure that the redesigned FPNTC website best met the training needs of the family planning community. In November 2018, JSI added advanced training tracking features to allow Title X grantees to better manage training for their networks.
