Refugee Health Technical Assistance Center
Goal: To provide technical assistance and support to refugee health and mental health providers, particularly to navigate the changes due to the Affordable Care Act
Overview: JSI designed, developed, and implemented the National Refugee Health Technical Assistance Center (RHTAC) project in collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health with funding from the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement. RHTAC provided technical assistance and support to refugee health and mental health providers working with recently resettled refugees in the U.S. JSI was responsible for creating the RHTAC logo and identity, developing and maintaining a website, implementing national webinars, sharing tools and resources with providers via email and social media, and creating multilingual videos about the Affordable Care Act.
