The Doorway-NH Opioid Awareness Campaign
Goal: To inform New Hampshire residents that the 9 NH Doorways are established throughout the state and are available to help identify and connect people to needed substance use disorder (SUD) services.
Overview: JSI is working with the New Hampshire Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services to develop and implement the Doorways NH public awareness campaign, including the paid media campaign, social media, and community outreach materials. JSI first developed and implemented the Anyone.Anytime.NH™ opioid prevention campaign in 2015; in February 2019, JSI rebranded it as the Doorway NH campaign. Doorway NH is an initiative of Governor Sununu, which includes a website with resources to the nine Doorways, connecting NH residents to the supports, services, and level of care that is right for them. The campaign informs residents that they are not alone; addiction can happen to anyone; recovery is possible; and anyone can ask for help by visiting a Doorway or by dialing 2-1-1. The multi-media campaign includes a variety of channels and grassroots approaches, including: video, website, social media, print materials, radio, TV, and outdoor advertising.
