Training Package: Promoting Women’s Health to Prevent Maternal Mortality Training Package
Goal: The goal of this project was to build the capacity of 100 Healthy Start grantees to improve infant and maternal health outcomes.
Overview: Through the Supporting Healthy Start Performance Project cooperative agreement, JSI established and managed the Healthy Start EPIC Center, providing training and technical assistance for Healthy Start grantees. We worked closely with the HRSA Maternal and Child Health Bureau and grantee workgroups to ensure that all capacity building assistance (CBA) was relevant, timely, and high quality. As part of our CBA services, JSI designed and managed a website; provided creative services such as materials development, infographics, and videos; created digital and social media content; conducted formative research; and developed eLearning and distance training opportunities.
