Positive Spin Campaign
Goal: To raise awareness about the HIV care continuum, and encourage people living with HIV to get into and stay in treatment
Overview: In 2015, AIDS.gov (now HIV.gov) launched Positive Spin, a digital educational tool that uses video to chronicle the true stories of five Black, gay men who are living with HIV and who have successfully navigated the HIV care continuum. JSI scripted and produced 27 videos and developed the website content and facilitator’s guide. The videos are housed on a website designed by JSI’s partner, ICF International. Positive Spin leveraged social media to expand the reach and share messages along the HIV care continuum.
Results: In 2016, Positive Spin had:
- 2,661 total video views
- 4,864 total minutes watched
- 22,030 total website sessions
- 27,352 website page views
